US Sees Unprecedented Immigration Drop; NK Missile Base Poses "Nuclear Threat" to US; US, EU Unveil Trade Framework

August 22, 2025

Good Morning,

The US immigrant population shrank 2.6% to 51.9 million as of June 2025, marking the first decline in the U.S. immigrant population since the 1960s. Meanwhile, global tensions continue to escalate with Sudan's military denying accusations of bombing aid convoys bound for famine-stricken regions, and Netanyahu advancing controversial plans for Gaza operations while simultaneously announcing renewed hostage negotiations. Security concerns mount as intelligence reports reveal North Korea's undisclosed missile facilities posing nuclear threats to the U.S., while on the economic front, the U.S. and European Union formalize new trade frameworks.
