Diplomatic Strains and Policy Shifts: US Cancels Zelenskyy Meeting, Israel Accuses Hamas of Ceasefire Violation, and Trump Ends TPS for 500,000 Haitians
Good Morning,
A planned news conference between Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and US envoy Keith Kellogg was abruptly canceled at the US’ request amid escalating tensions between Zelenskyy and Trump over the future of US support for Ukraine, Israel accused Hamas of violating a ceasefire after one of the bodies handed over did not belong to a hostage, and the Trump administration has rescinded protections for roughly 500,000 Haitians under Temporary Protected Status (TPS), potentially subjecting them to deportation by August.
