Military Brinkmanship Escalates as Nations Confront Border Tensions, Parade Politics, and Missile Threats
May 5, 2025
Good Morning,
Pakistan's citizens resist war rhetoric from their leadership, while Donald Trump makes controversial statements about deploying military force in Greenland and defends the substantial cost of his planned military parade. Meanwhile, Houthi forces have reportedly struck Israel with a "hypersonic ballistic missile" near an airport, escalating Middle East tensions. And in North America, Mexico's president reveals she rejected Trump's proposal to send US troops across their shared border.
