Global Tensions Mount: Modi Warns of Further Military Action; Putin Defies Ceasefire Demands; War Crime Allegations Surface as Civilian Casualties Rise

May 13, 2025

Good Morning,

Prime Minister Modi has issued a stark warning that India has merely paused—not ended—military operations, promising swift retaliation should another terror attack occur. Meanwhile, Russian President Putin continues to ignore ceasefire demands from both the UK and EU, as Poland presents evidence allegedly linking Russia to a major shopping center fire earlier this year. The humanitarian toll of ongoing conflicts grows increasingly apparent, with Human Rights Watch reporting Burkina Faso forces killed at least 100 civilians in a March attack, while former UK Special Forces break their silence on disturbing war crime allegations including children being handcuffed and shot.
