Global and domestic tensions rise as Trump, Netanyahu face criticism, ICC under fire, and tariffs wreak economic havoc.

April 9, 2025

Good Morning,

The International Criminal Court faces scrutiny for its handling of war crimes, while the White House has controversially suggested the deportation of U.S. citizens, drawing warnings from Justice Sotomayor. Domestically, Republican lawmakers are criticized for their silence on Trump's tariffs, which have privately met with disapproval despite their public support for free trade. These tariffs have had severe economic repercussions, erasing $10 trillion in stock market value, equivalent to half of the European Union's GDP.
