Bipartisan Progress, Blocked Deals, and Austria’s Political Shift

President Joe Biden signed a bipartisan deal which will expand Social Security benefits for over 2.5 million people, Nippon Steel's $14.9 billion bid for U.S. Steel was blocked by President Joe Biden due to national security concerns, and Austria's conservative People’s Party has agreed to negotiations with the “far-right” Freedom Party (FPO).
